Authentic Oven Fajitas, Better Than Any Restaurant

I used to love getting fajitas when we went out to eat. Something about them bringing that piping hot skillet to the table that just made my mouth water. I never thought of making them at home, until my brother made them for us one day on a visit to their house for dinner. The only thing that really surprised me was, he pulled a big casserole pan out of the oven, and he didn’t fry them on the stove like I had expected to see. The second he said he was making fajitas, that was the first thing I visualized.

The recipe he used looked a lot like this one from Spend With Pennies. The smell that came from that pan was out of this world. I felt like I was in my favorite restaurant, not in my brother’s dinning room. The taste was even better than what I had imagined. I think I overate that day for sure.

I was certain to have him explain the process to me for making them this way before we left that night. Now, I can make my favorite food at home whenever I want.
