You’re Going To Give Your Jaw A Workout With These Thick Dark Chocolate Brownies

My son had so nicely signed me up to bring a dessert to his school bake sale. I love that boy, but sometimes I wonder what he is thinking. I was working 12 hour shifts, and running him and his sister all over town to their practices and social events on a regular basis. Sure, of course I have time to make something, why not? I needed to find something yummy, yet simple, that I could whip up quickly. I debated getting a box of brownies and taking the easy road, but I would have been too embarrassed.

At one of my breaks, I was searching through my phone for various recipes, and I stumbled upon this beauty on The Pioneer Woman. It looked like the perfect solution. Fairly simple, not many ingredients, and done quickly. That was the one. I made these that night and sent them with him the next day.

He came home as proud as a peacock saying that “his” brownies were the first ones to sell. Sure buddy. I’m glad “you” did so well with your brownies.
