Some friends of ours were recently hosting a birthday party for their young son. They said they were making a dinner of sloppy joes and a few other things. I asked if they wanted me to bring something, and they declined. I said, “Nonsense! I’ll make mac and cheese!” The party was for kids so that was the first food that I thought of that was kid friendly. I didn’t just want to make any ol’ mac and cheese though, I wanted something special. I did a quick search online, and this is the first recipe that I found that sounded good.
Group Recipes had a load of recipes, but this one stood out the most to me. It seemed simple, and who doesn’t want four cheeses in their macaroni? I figured it would be perfect for both kids and adults. It was going to be way better than the box kind I knew that much.
I whipped up a double batch, because there was going to be a decent sized group of people, and the whole dish was gone by the time we were ready to leave. Our friends couldn’t stop thanking us. I was happy to help!
