We were kicking off our summer of golfing tournaments in our local town with all of our golfing buddies. We always do a bit of a banquet at the start of the season just to go over any changes and to refresh everyone of the way things work. It’s a lot of fun because we see a lot of people that we haven’t seen all winter long. This last banquet we decided to do a potluck so that we could save our money in the kitty for a bigger end of the year prize. That was fine with me, because I fully intend to win!
I decided to do a pasta dish, and went with this spicy mac and cheese that I saw on The Pioneer Woman. The process of putting it together was so simple, which was nice because I had to do it after work on a Friday and have it done by the 7 o’clock dinner time.
I just whipped it together and then put it in the slow cooker to keep it warm. It was a huge hit among everyone at the gathering. I walked out with an empty pan and a ton of compliments.
