One of my nieces recently had a bridal shower to celebrate her upcoming nuptials. They were doing things small and just had a gathering of the closest friends and family at my sister’s house. There were about thirty or so of us, and that was plenty. She got a lot of really nice things for her and her husband to use to start off their new life together. I got them a crock pot, because I have three and I know how much I use them. She said she didn’t even have one yet! I couldn’t believe it.
She wasn’t quite sure what to do with it, so lucky for her, I had included some of my favorite recipes inside the pan. This chicken alfredo lasagna was at the top of the list. It’s a recipe similar to the one I saw on Julie’s Eats & Treats. My niece said that it was the first one that she made, just because it sounded amazing.
Her and her fiance really enjoyed it, and she loved the idea of cooking from her new crock pot. I told her to get used to it. It’s going to be her new best friend!
