I was looking at our calendar for the week, and things were looking pretty crazy. Sports games, meetings, work, school, everything, all at once. You know those weeks, right? One week things are easy peasy and you find yourself loafing around with nothing to do. Then, the next week, BAM! Everything hits you at once and you can’t even find time to sit down much less relax. I always do what I can to try and simplify those busy weeks by making hard jobs more simple.
One of those sometimes time consuming jobs is of course, cooking. That’s why I love my crock pot. I can make so much stuff in there, and it’s done at dinner time. That’s usually when things are the craziest, and if I’m stuck in the kitchen, it’s even crazier. This simple chicken and rice recipe is one I use A LOT!
I found it on Julie’s Eats & Treats some time ago, and we use it a few times a month at least. It’s my husband favorite, and the kids like it, so might as well!
