Are You Ready To Try This Italian Pizza Casserole? I Am!

This is awesome to take to potluck dinners. Everyone always goes bananas over it. The flavor is really tasty. I love it fresh out of the oven, and like most pastas, it’s even better the second day. I’m a sauce and cheese girl though, so I usually add in extra of both of those. You can never really have too much. I’d rather play it safe than end up with a dry dish that nobody is going to eat. You’ll have to play around with it a bit to see what works for you. Check out what they are saying about this recipe over at All Recipes:

“I love this recipe! My husband loved it and ALL 6 of my kids loved it too! I think it’s the first time everyone in the family actually all really liked a casserole I made!”

When you’ve all but given up on casseroles and pleasing everyone, give this delicious dish a try!

2 cups uncooked egg noodles

1/2 pound lean ground beef

1 onion, chopped

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 green bell pepper, chopped

1 cup sliced pepperoni sausage

16 ounces Ragu pizza sauce

4 tablespoons milk

1 cup shredded Kraft mozzarella cheese

Cook noodles according to package directions.

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).

In a medium skillet over medium-high heat, brown the ground beef with the onion, garlic and green bell pepper. Drain excess fat. Stir in the noodles, pepperoni, pizza sauce and milk, and mix well. Pour this mixture into a 2-quart casserole dish.

Bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 20 minutes, top with the cheese, then bake for 5 to 10 more minutes.
