When I was 15 I spent a month of the summer visiting my aunt in Florida. I had never stayed away from home for so long before, but I was really excited to see my aunt and be in Florida! All I had my mind set on was going to the beach and getting the best tan that I could so I could impress all of my friends back home in New York. Also, the scenery in general is just so pretty. I was happy to see all of the palm trees.
My aunt was always really fun and adventurous and took me everywhere! We went to the beach and had a blast. We also went to Disney! I had never been there before and it was just as magical as I had pictured. My aunt also took me to a little historic district of her town. I had the most delicious food there, which is where I think I decided that I really liked to eat!
I tasted so many new cuisines. I had never had Puerto Rican food before and it was amazing! However, I went to a little mom and pop bakery shop. That is where I had the best tasting brownies of my entire life – Nutty Cream Cheese Brownies! These were the best tasting brownies I had ever had. They were so creamy and chocolatey! I searched and searched for the recipe and finally found one that is exactly like it! This is a must try brownie recipe!
