We were having our annual end-of-the-year banquet for bowling a few weeks ago. Every year, they draw names to see who has to bring what kind of dish. I was really hoping for something simple. I was drowning at work and I didn’t have a whole lot of time at home to make something fancy for everyone. Thank goodness, they drew me for appetizer. That’s something that I can easily handle. I already had an idea of what I was going to do, cocktail wieners.
Toss those bad boys in some BBQ sauce and call it a day. It was my go-to recipe for when I was in a hurry. Turns out, the week of the banquet, I had an extra day off of work because we lost power. Sweet, more time to come up with something a little bit different.
I found this recipe on All Recipes for a bacon wrapped version of my favorite snack. Say what? Bacon! I love bacon anything. I knew these would be good. They were the first pot to be emptied out at the party. Just like I figured.
