When we went to a friend’s wedding last year, it was the first time in my life that I had ever tried chicken cordon bleu. They used to serve it all the time at one of the restaurants that I used to work at, but I never was brave enough to try it. This time, I was at a wedding where they were offering this or prime rib. Well, I was pregnant so I was afraid of getting a raw piece of meat. Not that I don’t love prime rib, because it is one of my favorites, I just couldn’t have it.
I wasn’t disappointed either. The chicken cordon bleu was extremely tasty! I was glad that I finally had it. Then, later on in the year, I was browsing around for some new recipes to try at home, and I came across this one on All Recipes.
Would I be able to make this myself? I honestly didn’t think that I could. I’m pretty good in the kitchen, but I stick with the recipes that I am good at for them most part. Surprisingly, this wasn’t very hard to make. The flavor was divine too so I must have done something right!

Quick Tip: The thinner you pound the chicken breast, the faster they will cook up.
