I am not ashamed to tell everyone in the whole wide world, I am addicted to macaroni and cheese. Ever since I was a small child, I have loved mac and cheese. From a box, homemade, even those new little microwave bowls that they have. It doesn’t really matter… I like it all. Whenever I find a new recipe, there is no doubt in my mind that I’m going to be trying it out. There are some that haven’t turned out so well, and there are others that are simply the best.
This recipe from Spend with Pennies is one of those that falls under the best category. When my kids were coming home for holiday from college, I made this special for them. They too, like their mother, love the classic macaroni and cheese. We sat around the dinner table that night and ate this whole pan to ourselves.
I don’t think my husband even got a sample. He isn’t as crazy about it as we are. I don’t know how we even found anything in common all those years ago… just kidding honey!
