My son was graduating from college last year, and me and his father couldn’t have been more proud of him. He didn’t have the easiest time in high school, and we were concerned for some time that he wasn’t going to make it to college. In his senior year though, he turned his life around and straightened things out. After his graduation ceremony, we asked him what he wanted to do for a meal. He didn’t want to go out, he wanted Mom’s home cookin’.
After being away for so long, I can’t blame him. There’s nothing like eating at home after living so far away. I wanted to do something simple, yet sophisticated for our new college educated child. I found a recipe for beef sticky buns on Delish Plan and was intrigued to say the least. I thought they sounded like they would be right up my boy’s alley.
He loved anything with meat, and they looked fancy and fun to make. I made these before we headed to the campus and then popped them in the oven when we got home. He loved them! So did everyone else that came to the dinner. I’m glad I made a double batch!
