My husband recently took a higher position at work, and we couldn’t have been more excited. He had worked very hard to get into the spot that he was in, and he earned every second of his success. In order to celebrate, we were going to have a few of his co-workers, along with a couple of our friends over for a nice little gathering. It wasn’t going to be anything huge, but we wanted to mark the moment with the people we cared about the most.
We had thought about getting a dinner catered in, but he always has loved my home cooked meals, so I told him that I would find him something extra special for his extra special day. I remembered a recipe that I had seen on Taste and See for chicken cannelloni that sounded super fancy and looked fairly simple to make.
That was going to be the ticket! I gathered up all the ingredients and quickly tossed it together before going to get ready for our guests. It went over really well with everyone at the party, and my husband couldn’t stop smiling all night. It’s one of those things that we will never forget for the rest of our lives!
