When my parents were coming for an overnight visit, I could hardly stand my excitement. It was the first time that they were coming to stay with me and my fiance since we had purchased our first home. They had seen the house in pictures, but they had never been in to see it in real life. I was so proud of our accomplishment, and I wanted to share it with the people that helped me the most to reach those goals. They lived a few hours away from where we moved to, so of course I wanted them to stay with us.
Otherwise, they would be spending the majority of their day on the road, and I didn’t want them to have to do that. So, I knew we would go out for dinner that evening, but I wanted to make them something special for breakfast the next day. I found a recipe for scrambled egg bread on All Recipes, and knew it would be ideal for the group of us.
I got up early that day, and let them sleep in for a change. When the smell of this reached the guest room, out they came for brunch and coffee. It was the best breakfast I had in that house up to that point, and I would do it again in a heartbeat if I could!
