It was Memorial weekend last year, and time for our annual start of the summer party. I couldn’t wait. We always had been lucky with nice weather, great company, and amazing foods since we started doing it ten years earlier. It was my favorite gathering of the entire year! We usually provided the main entrees and then asked that everyone else bring their own best side dishes.
My Aunt really surprised us this year and brought a potato salad that was like none other I had ever tried before. It was an Italian potato salad that she said she found on The Recipe Rebel.
I couldn’t stop eating it! It was one of those dishes where you think you’ll be able to get away with a couple of bites, but it’s way better than that. I asked that she give me a copy of that recipe so that I could make it again.
I think I took it to every BBQ I went to last year… and intend on doing the same again this year!
