We had to have a meeting at work…like we do every other month to go over any new rules or policies, and everyone gets a chance to let their problems out in the open so that we can work on them together. It’s not my favorite part of the job, mainly because I am not much of a complainer. I just put my head down and do the work. There are some that bring up legitimate points while I think others just complain to hear themselves talk. The only thing I do like about these meetings is that we get to have a meal at the end.
This particular meeting happened in the morning, so most of the people that brought in a dish to pass brought in breakfast type foods. There were cheesy potato pancakes that Sally brought in that were simply divine.
It made sitting through that hour long session well worth it. I had her email me the recipe later that day so that I could take it home and make them for my family.
When I did, they were a huge favorite. We have them all the time now with our leftover mashed potatoes.
