I’m slightly embarrassed to mention this, but I’m going to go ahead and do it anyways. I didn’t figure out how to use the grill until I was almost thirty years old! Yep, it took me three decades to become brave enough to try and cook anything on it. It was just an intimidating piece of equipment, until I tried it the first few times. It didn’t take long to get the hang of what was going on with it. Especially with the built in thermometer that ours had.
It was just like cooking in the oven, but so much better. Now that grilling season is once again upon us, I can’t wait to bust that bad boy out and do up some scrumptious meats and other foods.
One thing I know for sure that will be on our picnic table this year is this BBQ bacon potato salad from The Recipe Rebel. I made it once last year at the end of the season and it was incredible.
I’ve made it a few times over the winter, but I think it pairs up the best with foods from the grill. So, these ingredients are going on my shopping list again right now!
