Break Me Off A Piece Of That Breakfast Casserole!

Easter is always at Grandma’s house. We all meet over there right after church for a nice meal, some good conversation, and an Easter egg hunt for the kids. It’s one of the few times throughout the year that we see some of our family that travel from all over the state to spend the holiday with us. We really look forward to it. Part of the deal of going over there is that we all bring a dish to pass.

Grandma used to make everything, but it was just getting too hard for her to do. We are all able bodied individuals, so it was my idea to start bringing something to share. Last year, I wanted to show up with something that nobody ever makes, a breakfast casserole.

We have been doing it like this for years and nobody has ever brought one, so I wanted to make sure it was good. I found this recipe on Baked By An Introvert and it sounded like just what I was looking for.

It was super easy to put together, and it baked up nice looking. Everyone really enjoyed it and asked that I make it again for the next family event. Sure thing!
