We had some new neighbors move onto our block, and my husband and I were pretty excited about it. They looked to be about our age, and they looked like they had kids that were our kid’s ages too. It was refreshing to see, because most of the people that lived near us were already at retirement age. Sure they would have grand kids that would show up once in a while that would play outside with our little ones, but we were hoping for a younger community when we moved in.
We didn’t pay enough attention apparently. So, as soon as the new couple settled in, we invited them over for dinner. I really wanted to impress them with something special, so I pulled out this recipe that I found from All Recipes for a fancy baked pasta dish.
We ate it with a nice dinner salad and warm rolls. The food was amazing, the company was incredible, and we made some life long friends at that dinner. Welcome to the neighborhood!
