Sports are a huge part of my family’s life. My kids play, the parents and whoever isn’t playing watch and encourage them on. When the kids aren’t playing, and we are at home, we are watching the pros on the television. It keeps us bonded and gives us something to talk about. There’s something about rooting for your home team that just pulls you closer together as a family, and we can’t get enough.
I am the one that usually gets ready for these binge watching sports sessions by making up all kinds of fun snacks for us to munch on throughout the game. I knew when I found this recipe for tomato and bacon squares on All Recipes, my family would go nuts over them.
Not all my kids, nor does my husband, like tomatoes, but they just picked them off their pieces. It was worth it to get to the deliciousness that was these little tasty squares.
Now, I just keep these ingredients on hand so we can have this yummy snack whenever we want…which is usually at least once a week!
