Unlikely Hodgepodge Of Flavors In This Wild Rice Recipe, But You’re Gonna Love It

I know it’s not a staple in the country, but my family is in love with rice. We eat it frequently, most especially if we have something super savory on the table. The taste of rice goes so well with savory dishes, which is why I never hesitate to serve it on the table along with a vegetables or salad. My family prefers it more when it’s a one-pot rice recipe. I don’t need to cook several other dishes to compensate for the lack of flavors because everything is in that one pot. Those fried rice recipes that taste so much like yang chow- that’s what my family is obsessed about.

Just recently, I’ve been thinking of a rice recipe that will go well with the season. I never usually mind the season, but recently, we’ve all been drowning ourselves with meat recipes. I thought that maybe we can finally try another fish recipe.

Fortunately, I have a lot of new recipes that involve flavorful fish. One of them is this pan-fried sole with mixed wild rice recipe from Snixy Kitchen. It seems perfect for what I had in mind so I tried it.

There are a lot of different flavors in this recipe that you wouldn’t think can be together in one dish. But just like me, you will be surprised by how the flavors all come together to create an amazing serving of sole and wild rice. You just have to try it to believe it.
