My family will never get tired of eating pork chops; most especially those lean tender ones that melt in the mouth when cooked the right way. I usually slice my pork chops thin because they’re easier to cook and easier for my sons to enjoy. Most of the time, I season the pork chops with simple salt and pepper. I just go crazy with the side dish so there will be balance between the tastes. Pork is already flavorful so sometimes I feel uncomfortable in dressing it up.
Sometimes, I want to try something new. I doubt that we will get tired of the pork chop recipes that I always make for my family. However, there really is a need for change sometimes.
The constant search for new twists and flavors is a never-process. I don’t just do that to pork chops though- I do that to every meat that I use to cook for my family. Sometimes, I find gem recipes and I never let them go.
Just like this sage pumpkin pork chops recipe from Snixy Kitchen. I know it’s not yet fall, but I have a can of pumpkin puree at home when I came across this. I figured, why not try it and see if my family’s going to like it- well, they didn’t like it; they loved it.
The taste of pumpkin smothered on top of juicy pork chops is what heaven probably tastes like. You have to prepare this for supper and see the reaction of your own family. Mine was definitely star-struck.
