It’s been so long since I cooked tuna for my family. While it’s not our favorite fish, we still love eating it because it has almost that same quality as salmon, which is our favorite fish. Almost as being the key word. Salmon tends to keep that moisture inside no matter what- a reason why I am not as afraid to cook salmon. Tuna is a bit different in that aspect- it tends to easily get dry. No one wants to eat a dry fish. We want that moisture locked in in there.
Tuna sashimi or tuna sushi would have been my first choice whenever I have a piece of tuna on hand. However, I am still uncomfortable allowing my sons to eat raw food at their age. I have no choice but to try something that cooks tuna all the way and prevent it from being dry.
Fortunately and to my best of luck, I found this lime ginger tuna recipe from a site called Snixy Kitchen. It’s a simple recipe that allows you to adjust flavors based on your preferences. The best thing about it- it locks in that fish moisture that we want in every fish recipe we prepare.
This is an easy tuna steak dish that you will love to cook again and again. I am sharing the recipe with you on the next page- I know you’re dying to try this one for your family.
