How have I spent more than half my life baking away? I mean, I cannot believe I am old enough to say that. It feels like just yesterday that my husband was not even a thought (I did not even know him until a year before we got married) and I was living in my childhood home enjoying my nights coloring or dressing dolls. It’s crazy how life passes you by so quickly, right? I have so many wonderful stories of the last 12 years though, so I am more than happy about the way my life has progressed.
Well, the other day I was in one of these pensive, nostalgic and sentimental moods and knew I had to whip something up that would cheer me up and help me enjoy my life as it is at this very moment. Well, I knew I wanted cookies but I wanted them extra chewy!
