Let This Chicken Cordon Bleu Melt Away Your Worries

Simple family meals make up a lot of our meals. We’re not fans of the fancy and the elegant ones. While we do prepare them once in a while, my family enjoys dishes that are hearty and simple at the same time. We love casseroles, roasts, pasta dishes, and simple cookies and cakes. Mealtimes with the family are meant to be enjoyed. You can enjoy them the most when the food around you are familiar and easy to eat.

Cordon bleu is one of the chicken recipes I love preparing for my family. The thing about this dish is that you can do anything you want with it as long as you maintain the principle behind the food. Sometimes I use bacon instead of ham; and sometimes I use chicken thighs instead of breasts (deboned of course).

I love preparing this for them for dinner because that’s the time when we are complete. My husband usually comes home at around 7:30, and he’s just in time for the 8 pm dinner. We take our time during meal times because we always enjoy those little family moments.

I usually serve my chicken cordon bleu with roasted asparagus with creamy sauce. Or, I serve it with a small plate of Caesar salad. Sometimes, when I serve if for lunch, I serve it with rice or pasta.

No matter how you want to serve this dish, I am pretty certain you will still enjoy it. So flip on over to the next page for the list of ingredients and instructions.
