Whenever we go to a certain place, most especially if it’s outside the country, we always love to try authentic dishes, don’t we? I think they’re part of that overseas adventure. The culture, the sceneries, and of course, the food. I remember when I first visited Singapore. My friend has recommended this restaurant where I ate this Laksa that took my breath away. Laksa has this spicy coconut milk broth with shrimp or chicken pieces on it. It’s a bit too spicy for my taste, but the savory quality of the soup just overpowered the spiciness- it has become an instant favorite.
My husband and I love a few international cuisines. Nothing still tastes better than home-cooked southern food, but we have our favorites. We love Chinese, Italian, and of course, Japanese cuisine.
Nothing beats authentic sushi from a simple sushi bar in Shibuya. Those quaint little cafés in Italy served the best pasta. And Chinese food is really everyone-s favorite-dumplings, stir-fry, and flavored rice like yang chow.
Speaking of Chinese food, this recipe that I am about to share with you has a huge Chinese influence. This sesame chicken recipe will make you fall in love at first taste. The flavors in this recipe will make you want to have more of this savory chicken.
It’s a dish that I’m sure your family will appreciate more than you ever think. It has that savory Asian taste, but with that homey touch of southern cuisine. Oh you just have to make this.
