I missed the days when I can always bake a cake from scratch. Right now, no matter how much I want to just leave work and do what I want to do, I can’t. I have time over the weekends, but the time to spend the day with the family always wins. It’s a pull that can never be overpowered by any other pull. I am still able to make cake of course. It’s just that if it’s one of those that required all of your time in the kitchen, I rarely make them.
This dump cake recipe is made from a cake mix. However, not all cakes made from cake mixes taste like cake mixes, if you know what I mean. This particular version, for example, actually tastes incredible- as if you made everything from scratch.
When making dump cakes, I allow my kids to help me. I usually line up everything they can add to the cake like chocolate chips, nuts, M&Ms, and sprinkles. And then I allow them to add a few of what they want-it’s my way of personalizing the dump cake.
This dump cake recipe is a pretty easy recipe that you can make anytime your family is craving for something sweet. Or if you have sudden visitors that you needed to serve dessert to. They will not be disappointed by this simple recipe.
I am sharing with you a copy of this recipe on the next page. I hope your family will enjoy this chocolaty goodness that’s so easy to make.
