Last week, one of my long-time friends, Misha, called to say that he and her husband Gene will be visiting me and my family over the weekend. Misha is a simple girl that never demands anything. I love her so much because he has been one of those true friends who just helped wholeheartedly. She’s a genuine person who will lend you her shoulders if you don’t have anything to lean on to. She is one of my favorite friends that I am planning to keep forever.
Coincidentally, Gene was my husband’s best friends in college, which I just found out when Misha introduced him to me a few years back. It’s really a small world, isn’t it? When you think about it, our lives are intertwined in one way or another- we just couldn’t see it because some of us were meant to meet while some were not.
Since I know Misha more than I know myself sometimes, I made her truffles. She loves chocolate truffles so much that she can eat a dozen in one sitting. I don’t know where she puts all of those sweets that she east; but it never shows on her slim figure.
I made a batch of these truffles for her and her husband. She squealed when I handed the box to her, startling my napping sons. Yes, she’s that addicted to chocolate truffles.
And this recipe for chocolate truffles just fueled her addiction.
