I received a warning from my husband with regards to these tiger butter fudge. He told me that if I made them again, he will eat them all! I laughed at his warning, but at the same time I pitied him. He was trying to stay away from sweets recently because there’s a new diet he’s trying. It doesn’t have anything to do with him getting fat (because he doesn’t get fat), but his gym instructor told him to stay away from sweets. He just recently started going to the gym again because of stress. I still made this fudge for me and my sons; but guess who I caught sneaking a bar?
Check out what our friends from Real House Moms have to say about this recipe:
“Now this Tiger Butter Fudge has become a family favorite in my house and is quickly becoming my most requested fudge recipe. It has only 3 ingredients, takes about 5 minutes to throw together, but it is so decadent and delicious and it’s hard to stop at just one piece. I refuse to tell you how many pieces I had the first time I made this fudge. Consider yourself warned!”
This is totally addicting- this has to be your second warning.
Ingredients
- 2 (12oz) packages Toll House white chocolate chips
- 1 cup Jif creamy peanut butter
- 1 cup Toll House semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 tbsp Crisco shortening (opt)
Instructions
- Prepare a 9×13 pan by covering pan with a piece of foil or parchment paper and set aside.
- In a microwave safe bowl, heat white chocolate chips on high for 1 minute to 1 minute 30 seconds and stir. Add in peanut butter and heat for an additional 30 seconds. Stir until fully melted, creamy, and fully combined.
- Pour into prepared pan and set aside.
- In a separate microwave safe bowl, heat chocolate chips for 1 minute on high and stir. Return to microwave in 30 second burst until melted. Stirring in between each burst. If chocolate is too thick to drizzle nicely, stir in a tablespoon of shortening to thin the chocolate.
- Drizzle chocolate in straight lines (in one direction only) over the peanut butter/white chocolate mixture. Take a knife and drag it through the chocolate going the opposite direction from the lines or swirl the chocolate until you are happy with the pattern in the fudge.
- Let the fudge sit out on the counter for 2 hours to set up.
- Use a sharp knife to cut into 64 pieces.
