This Dessert Feels Like You Are Freezing Fire

When I first tasted Baked Alaska, I didn’t know what it was called. All I knew was that it’s a baked and a frozen dessert in one. That sounded like magic to me, but I really didn’t care. I enjoyed the dessert when my husband offered it to me while we were dining in a restaurant with a few friends. I loved it so much that I had to ask the waiter what it was. When I found out it was called Baked Alaska, I felt amused at the irony. However, the desire to taste the dessert again, won. So I found myself searching the internet with an easy dessert that will allow me to make it at home.

Fortunately, I found a great and easy recipe at Mr. Food. If you go to their site, you can find a few more recipes which you can try for your family. They have an arsenal of recipes that range from dessert to crockpot to casseroles.

This easy baked Alaska allowed me to remake that amazing dessert that I couldn’t forget. However, this is so much easier to make, which I was sure was the total opposite of the one from the restaurant. My family loved this recipe, most especially my kids- that made me happy.

You can have a copy of this recipe on the next page. It’s as easy as 1-2-3!

Quick Tip: To remove the ice cream from the bowl easily, use the warmth of your hands or some water to heat up the bowl slightly; the ice cream should come right out.
