The Crust On This Baked Ham Will Make Your Mouth Water!

The combination of pineapple and cheese does wonders to this classic ham recipe. I usually don’t like experimenting with the classic, but this is one of the exceptions. It’s an amazing recipe that’s so flavorful and classy that you can serve it to anyone, and during any occasion. A slice of this will be enough to make anyone run for a second or even a third slice. You will be surprised just by how good this baked ham recipe is- there’s nothing ordinary about this, I tell ya.

Check out what our friends from Mr. Food have to say about this recipe:

“There’s a cause for celebration when this baked ham makes its appearance on your holiday table. We got the recipe for this Baked Ham in Cheese Crust from a viewer who said she was willing to let us in on a family secret, ’cause it’s just too good not to share!”

Thank you for sharing this recipe to us, Mr. Food. It’s a nice addition to the roster of meals my family enjoy.

Ingredients

1 (5-pound) Hormel fully cooked ham

1 (20-ounce) can Dole crushed pineapple, drained

1 cup (4 ounces) shredded Sargento Swiss cheese

1 cup plain Progresso bread crumbs

6 tablespoons (3/4 stick) Land O Lakes butter, melted

2 tablespoons McCormick dry mustard

Instructions

Preheat oven to 325 degrees F. Coat a roasting pan with cooking spray; place ham in pan.

In a large bowl, combine remaining ingredients; mix well. Using your hands, form a crust by patting pineapple mixture over ham, completely covering top and sides, except for cut side.

Bake 1 to 1-1/4 hours, or until ham is heated through and crust is golden. Slice and serve.
