As kids, our parents often told us how important food was. My Mom and Dad used to tell me and my brother all the time that we couldn’t skip any meal. Skipping meals mean we disturb the balance of the body because we’re used to eating at a particular time. It would affect even our metabolism, which wasn’t a good thing. My brother and I always found food important which is why even up to today, we impart that same knowledge to our kids. I think that’s the reason why my kids aren’t that picky. My husband and I often told them the value of what’s presented in front of you.
As a mother, I often make sure that my kids eat on time. It doesn’t matter whether I am busy working; I will always take a break just to cook for my kids. Usually though, I settle on easy but quality recipes; because what’s important to me is my kids’ health.
