Ditch Your Old Recipe – Once You’ve Tried These, There’s No Going Back!
The saying that says “when it rains, it pours” seems to become a full manifestation of our family life lately. We were given blessing by the Almighty at the start of the year; and they continue to pour until now. Just recently, my husband was assigned another project. While it might lead him to going overseas a few times, it advanced his career further. That’s really good for his self-actualization and it’s also really good for the future of our family. Family comes first; and we both do our best to make sure it happens that way all the time.
When I heard the news, I was doing grocery shopping. We’re running out of food in the pantry, and I took an hour break just to replenish the stocks. He called my while I was contemplating whether to use Italian dressing powder mix or Italian dressing.
I was so happy upon hearing the pride in his voice and the excitement. We both knew what this meant for all of us. I knew how hard we worked for the proposal and now it was assigned to him.
I decided to celebrate it by cooking something special for him- so I asked him what he wanted. He only said, “turkey meatballs”; and I knew I had to make something for him. It has been so long since I made meatballs out of turkey and it could be the right time.
So there’s this amazing meatball recipe that brings out the flavor of the meatballs through its special sauce. The slightly sweet and sour sauce goes so well with the savory meatballs. My husband fell in love with it on the first taste.
We celebrated his success with good food and happy atmosphere. I am so proud of him and his accomplishments- he is one hard worker.
