During the cold months, I usually make hot chocolate for my family every night. Mornings are for coffee, but nights are for that rich and frothy hot chocolate from scratch. The packed ones aren’t really our thing- we loved the rawness of the chocolates made from melting blocks of milk chocolate and adding milk until we achieved the consistency we wanted. That’s how my Mom used to make hot chocolate; that’s why hers is incomparable. However, I can safely say that I have achieved that same taste; I just need to work on the consistency.
I found this hot chocolate pudding recipe from One Bite More while I was looking for pudding recipes which I can try. The best thing about this recipe is that you can just drink this even without turning it into a pudding. Let’s say you didn’t want a dessert, but rather a drink- this is good for that.
But my family loves this recipe as pudding. They enjoy eating this so much that I usually have to prepare eight servings. We usually have another serving before going to bed while watching television.
This creamy chocolaty pudding is going to be a constant in my roster of desserts. It’s simple, it’s yummy, and everyone just loves it. I can’t ask for anything more.
