My childhood was made sweeter by the inclusion of chocolates in my everyday life. While my Mom never really fully allowed us to indulge in chocolates, she still allowed us to indulge a little. And because of that, I was not deprived of chocolate. I also learned to control my appetite with regards to the sweet treat because of such method employed by my Mom. This is what I’ve been doing to my twins too. I didn’t want to deprive them of chocolates so they will not feel the need to binge when allowed.
One of my favorite childhood chocolates is M & Ms. It’s the most amazing thing to me because it tastes chocolaty and it’s colorful. As a kid, how a food looked like and how it tasted like were the most important things to me.
Pretzels are another one of my favorite things, but this time, as an adult. I love munching on them because I loved the crunch and the slight saltiness. I love chocolate covered pretzels most especially because of the combination of sweetness and saltiness.
This cheesecake involves both of my favorite things. I can’t explain to you how much I worshipped this cheesecake once done. My family had looked at me as if I had gone insane.
Every layer in this cheesecake is special. I promise you that once you taste them all together, you will finally know what’s the taste of dessert heaven. You can’t allow your family to miss this amazing treat.
