There’s No Going Back! Yummy!
The last time my family and I had steak was during a family reunion. It has been weeks, but I still can’t forget the taste of Uncle Bob’s grilled steak. He uses the best marinade that makes the meat so flavorful and juicy. Add mashed potatoes on the side plus that thick gravy and you have a complete meal that you will never forget. While we love meat, my family and I rarely have steak. It’s another one of those recipes that I consider special occasion recipes.
Sometimes my husband requests for steak so I make one; but most of the time we just have it whenever there’s a special occasion to celebrate. It’s a luxury food for me. It also takes meticulousness because you want it to be perfect.
Speaking of craving, it was I who craved for steak a few nights ago. Because of that, I have to search for a recipe that will satisfy my cravings. It didn’t take me long to find one, and a simple one at that.
I found a steak recipe that’s cooked on stovetop. You don’t need to use the oven or broiler for this; just your stove. Amazingly, it turned out really great and my family loved it.

Quick Tip: The best steaks for cooking on the stovetop are boneless steaks that are between one and one-and-a-half inches thick. Thicker cuts like a New York strip steak or a boneless rib-eye work best for this method.
