I kind of had a cookie butter addiction before. Well, I guess you could say I’m still recovering… What can I say? That stuff is just so incredibly delicious that it’s hard to say know when you get your hands on it. I wouldn’t have even known about it but the ladies at the church potluck were going on and on about it. I had to find out what the fuss was all about, so the next day, when I went to the grocery store, I picked up a bottle of the stuff.
When I came home and finished preparing the meal for the family, I opened the jar and had a small taste. And there goes my sanity. I fell in love at first taste, seriously! There’s something about cookie butter that makes it impossible to say no. My husband felt the same when I asked him to try it.
I remember having jars of cookie butter at home. I didn’t even need to make dessert out of it sometimes. My husband and I enjoy eating it straight from the jar.
Anyway, this cookie butter pie recipe brought back my fondness for the sweet treat. It reminds me of why I became obsessed with it in the first place. This pie is so sinfully rich you wouldn’t be able to forget its taste.
