I’ve been cooking a lot of chicken recipes in the past few weeks that my husband finally said: “You know I love chicken, but can we have beef tomorrow?” It was an honest mistake on my part- I did forget about the other types of meat because I have a lot of new chicken recipes I love to try. To be fair, I did cook pork and lamb, it’s just the beef that I seemed to have forgotten. But since the husband finally spoke and woke me up from my temporary chicken madness, I promised him I would cook beef.
I wanted my beef comeback to be something extraordinary and flavorful. I wanted to come back with a bang. So I searched all over the internet and finally found a beef recipe that would redeem me in the eyes of my husband.
Kidding. I am beginning to sound dramatic. Anyway, the beef recipe wasn’t a joke though- I did scour the internet for a beef recipe that’s worthy of a comeback.
Finally, I found this peppered beef shank recipe from The Kitchn. It’s not the spiciest thing I could over my husband, but it’s so flavorful I knew he wouldn’t complain. And guess what- I was right!
My husband devoured the beef shank like a man who’s been hungry for beef for so long. He also loved the flavor so much he poured sauce all over his rice. He’s now in love with this recipe.
I think you will love this too, so please head over to the next page for the full recipe.
