I made another chicken recipe over the weekend because I couldn’t help it. I knew my husband requested beef for the first time because he missed beef, and here I was, making another chicken recipe. But I couldn’t help it- this chicken recipe was too hard to ignore. Okay, let me tell you what prompted me to try this… are you ready? Okay, what prompted me to try this recipe is this secret ingredient that I shall now reveal- Milk! Oh yes, it’s milk. And it’s the reason why my family was so crazy over this recipe now.
It was a typical weekend morning. Right after breakfast, I cleaned the kitchen because I decided to work on a pie. I didn’t like anything dirty whenever I started with dessert.
I asked my husband if it’s okay for me to cook chicken because I found something a few days before. He looked hesitant, but he nodded anyway. He’s the type to appreciate everything I cook for him.
After preparing my simple pie for my husband and kids, I decided to start on the chicken. I knew I would have enough time for it even though it’s being cooked in a slow cooker. And I also knew my family was going to love it.
And they did. My husband was a bit surprised at the taste, but he really looked happy about it. I knew they were never going to be able to say no to this chicken and milk recipe.
