I love reading books that make me guess. Books with plots like that send you everywhere, causing your imaginations to run wild. It’s an adventure having to read something like that; and it’s the type of book that I always love reading. My husband is getting the habit from me. He’s now borrowing books from me and I often see him reading while watching over our kids on weekends while I am at the kitchen. He seemed to have developed a love for fantasy and mystery, which is my type of story.
I love getting surprised with food too. I mean sure, I know a cheesecake when I see one; but I would love it when I get surprised after taking a bite. A secret ingredient that will make you just go… “Ooooh”.
A few nights ago, my husband brought back a box of cheesecake. He told me that his boss gave a box to every employee on that floor; there were about five of them in there. I thought it was chocolate cheesecake so I served slices to our sons too.
They didn’t like it, which was a first. When I took a bite, it was then that I realized why-it’s not something that kids would enjoy. There’s something that tasted like liqueur in there.
We found out the next day that the cakes were made by the boss’ sister-in-law. It’s Irish cream chocolate cheesecake, which main ingredient was Bailey’s. If you love cakes with such a flavor, you are so going to love this.
