When Chocolate And Peanut Butter Get Married, This Cake Is The Result

We often get invited by neighbors for parties. Most of the time, the occasion is a birthday party. During such an occasion, I always think of what to bring. Since I don’t know any of my neighbors that well, I often settle on bringing a cake-chocolate cake or vanilla cake. Both of these cakes are classic, and whichever you bring, you will feel safe. Everyone loves a good chocolate cake. Everyone also loves a simple vanilla cake. You don’t need to worry that they will not like it. And so far, I have been right. Every time I bring a cake, it’s always one of those that got eaten first.

One time though, I decided to take a risk and changed the flavor of the cake we were bringing. I made chocolate peanut butter cake for a change. If my husband was our neighbor, he would have ate it all by himself.

The smell that filled the kitchen was amazing. Liz, my husband’s cousin, and my sons went to investigate where the amazing smell was coming from. It was truly an enticing one that you will not be able to resist.

When we brought the cake to the party, it never got eaten. The reason was not because no one wanted it, but the birthday celebrant wanted to keep it all to herself. It was a bit amusing!
