One of my friends recently recommended an exercise routine to me. I was on the phone with her a few nights ago, complaining that I haven’t found time to go to the gym or even exercise lately. I love exercising because it makes me feel good and healthy. But because of my schedule, I haven’t gotten any exercise lately. She told me there are a lot of simple exercise that I can do in a span of ten minutes. She taught me a few by talking over the phone and sending me links to how they’re done.
One of the simple but hard exercises she was talking about was called planking. I am sure you all heard of it. And while it looked simple, it really wasn’t.
I assume it’s called planking because you literally have to position yourself like a plank. It hurts in the abdomen, but it really firms your muscles in there. Basically, planking is like push ups, but without the pushing.
When I tried planking on the first day, I only lasted for about twenty seconds. But as the days passed by, I got used to it. I can now plank in five minutes without getting tired.
Speaking of plank, this recipe that I am about to share with you is a different kind of plank. It uses cedar plank to give the salmon that nutty taste. If you want to find out more, please go to the next page.
