My husband and I love pancakes. We look forward to our Saturdays when we can make pancakes and enjoy them for honestly most of the day. We usually enjoy them throughout the day, whether it may be our full meal at breakfast, or a snack in the middle of the afternoon. It is just something that has become a tradition of ours. I pretty much just serve us breakfast, we eat it and then I leave the leftovers on a plate on the counter along with a little cup full of syrup.
Whenever we pass by and we are hungry, we just dunk a piece in the syrup and take a bite. Ahh, such a wonderful tradition we have made! Well, a lot of times we realize we want to have our pancakes out of the house, so it has been quite a few Saturdays since we last did that.
Lately what I do is leave the batter ready and if we want, we have, if not, we go to IHOP or The Pancake House. Well, the other day we were at The Pancake House and they served Red Velvet Pancakes. Oh my goodness, gracious. They were mind blowingly good.
