Warning: These Fudgy Brownies Are Dangerous…In A Sweet Way

I received a call from my sister in law a few days ago. It wasn’t a normal call most definitely; and she was almost squealing on the phone. I knew no one was in danger and nothing happened bad because her tone was really enthusiastic. Although I still had to calm her down to ask her what’s wrong… or right! It turned out she made something amazing in her kitchen. And that if I had the time, could I come over along with the kids so we could help her test them.

I wouldn’t say no to a dessert taste test. So after I hung up the phone, I prepared my sons and put them at the backseat of my car. We drove over to their uncle and aunt’s house, which was about ten minutes away from ours.

It was my nephew who answered the door for us. He looked so happy to see my sons that he was the one who led them away from me. I was immediately called into the kitchen and found my niece on her high chair and my sister-in-law cutting something into small rectangles.

I knew they were brownies of course, but I immediately noticed that they were layered. My sister-in-law told me they were called cavity brownies before allowing me to taste one. One bite and I knew why they were called cavity brownies.

Oh my word. You wouldn’t be able to stop at one until you finally get cavities. Oops, sorry about that!

Quick Tip: Chill your brownie so it will be firm. When you spread the cookie dough it will be much easier.
