Whenever my friends and I agree to meet, we usually meet at coffee chops. The smell of coffee along with the aroma of baking pastries in the oven are too irresistible for us. We enjoy our conversations more if we’re surrounded by such a relaxing atmosphere too. Coffee shops have that homey atmosphere that no restaurant can ever provide. That is probably the advantage of these shops when it comes to attracting customers like us. There is only one place that I will ditch coffee shops for- home.
Usually, my friends will ask me where I want to meet them. But if they already have a place in mind like their homes, I prefer it. Because homes mean homemade goodies; and there’s nothing better than those.
It’s during one of these meet ups on a friend’s home that I got to taste this pillow cookie. It’s basically a chocolate chip cookie with a brownie goodness inside. When I first took a bite, I squealed a bit because I was surprised.
That’s when I found out how it was made. It looks complicated, but it’s easier than most brownie recipes out there. You will be surprised once you finally learned how they’re made!
You can find the list of ingredients and instructions on the next page. You definitely don’t want your family to miss this!

Quick Tip: You can go ahead and make a box of brownies and save a few for these cookies or you could make brownies from scratch. You could also buy pre-made brownies and use those.
