My family is a fan of simple desserts. Okay, I often say that we are fans of rich and decadent desserts; the type that will make some people cringe because of the richness they contain. However, there are times when we just want to enjoy something simple; and pudding instantly comes to mind. Pudding is not as elaborate and as complicated as cakes or cookies even. It doesn’t even have to be as beautiful. All that ever matters is the taste.
Slow cooker desserts are guilty of this. Most of them are not really for serving to guests when it comes to how they look. But the taste will give any other dessert a run for their money.
My most favorite pudding is bread pudding because it tastes like French Toast, and French toast is a classic favorite. My husband and my kids prefer bread pudding too because it’s simple yet it tastes really good. So I always find myself making such a pudding.
My family loves eating pudding for breakfast. It’s a different take on their usual savory breakfast of sausages and eggs. Sometimes we need a change in our food routine and this is one of those.
If you are a fun of puddings, then you have to try this tiramisu bread pudding recipe. It has the classic taste of your regular bread pudding, except it has that tiny hint of another strong flavor, which makes it special.
