There are times when I think I am running out of recipes to cook for my family. I know, I have a compilation of untried recipes that I have gotten from everywhere, but I still feel that way sometimes. Don’t you feel that way too? That even though there are still millions of recipes for you to try, you can’t decide what to make for your family? This always happens to me more when it came to desserts.
I love it when I find a classic dessert with a unique twist on it. I always feel like I have found a treasure that I meant to share with the family. It pleases me whenever this incident happens.
A few weeks ago, I was at the house of one of my friends. I had to deliver a package to her, which was wrongly sent to me for some reason. While we were watching up, she served me this amazing dessert that tasted like banoffee pie.
It turned out that it was indeed banoffee pie, except that it’s the lasagna version. Yes! There were layers of creamy and chocolaty banana goodness in there and I was totally blown away!
I made this same dessert for my family, and they loved it! Most especially the two kids who’ll eat anything that has cream on it. This is truly a family dessert!
