There is something so amazing about a warm and hearty soup after a long day of work. My husband absolutely loves soup so we make it at home very often. We prepare it in so many different ways. Ever since we got married, we decided we would skip big dinners and have soup every night. We have done that for a very long time and have a lengthy list of favorite soups.
Little by little I will be sharing them here because I know you all will love to try these as well. My husband’s absolute favorite of all is split pea soup. Apparently, it always has been since he was a very little boy, so I knew I had to give this one a try and home and make it really well. I tried making it in a pressure cooker as well as just a normal pot.
But after a few tries like that, I attempted a crock pot split pea soup and it was life changing. Easy to prepare, delicious results and lots of leftovers. That is my type of soup. We enjoy this at least once a week and it definitely always finds a way onto our meal plan.
