I am truly excited about this and can you guess why? I have witnessed a lot of magical things happen in my life, and this includes my husband and my kids. I also witnessed a broken relationship mended because of a smile. I have witnessed enemies become friends because of a hardship. Miracles exist everyday. And they are what I call magical. Magical things happen everywhere and we just have to open our eyes to see them.
Back to my excitement. I am excited to share this recipe with you because this is truly a magical cake! Well, I am pretty sure it has an explanation about why it happens, but you will see what I mean in a bit.
While I was looking for red velvet recipes, I came across this recipe on a blog called Sweet And Savory By Shinee. I had to do a double take when I saw why this cake is magical. I had to make it just to witness it myself!
Imagine my excitement when I saw it with my own eyes. Let me explain it a little. In this recipe, you pour the glaze first, then the red velvet, then the flan mixture.
When it gets cooked, the red velvet and the flan switch positions! Isn’t that kind of magical? I’m sure it has something to do with the denseness of the mixtures, but hey, I’m not complaining!
