Have you ever craved for something so badly that you would get up in the middle of the night just to rummage into your fridge, and then cook what you’ve been craving for? That happens to me. I crave badly, so whenever I want something, I need to have it. I remember that night when I was craving for brownies so badly. I got out of bed, went straight to the kitchen, and made homemade brownies from scratch. Yes, from scratch!
My husband usually joins me if it’s a weekend. Otherwise, he just leaves me alone to fulfill my cravings on my own. He knew that if he stops me anyway, I won’t get to sleep and he won’t too.
A few nights ago, I craved for pasta in the middle of the night. I didn’t eat so well that dinner because I was too tired to even eat. I went to bed with very little on my stomach.
So in the middle of the night, I woke up hungry. My tongue was looking for anything pasta that wasn’t cheesy. I remembered this recipe that I haven’t tried for the longest time and I made it right then and there.
Guess who joined me? Yes, my husband. He woke up to the amazing smell of this dish and he just had to have a taste.

Quick Tip: If you use frozen shrimp, make SURE to defrost and pat dry before using in the sauce or else you’ll get a pretty watery sauce.
